R -- PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE SERENE HONEYMOON CADASTRAL SURVEY SOL SOL R6-5-96-02 POC Contact Point, Janet Hada, 206/744-3338 Notice of intent to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the Longview Fibre Company for the Serene Honeymoon cadastral survey. All work is to be performed in accordance with State statutes and the current Manual of Instructions for the Survey of Public Lands published by the Department of Interior. Work includes control surveying of 8.25 miles of common boundary line, corner search monumentation, property line posting, and preparation of records. The project is located within Section 24, T27N, R9E, and Section 30, T27N, R10E on the Skykomish Ranger District, Snohomish County, Washington. The Forest Service and the Longview Fibre Company share common boundaries withinthese Sections which enables the land owners to share costs of the survey. It is imperative the professional Surveyor be acceptable to both land owners to meet the needs of both the Forest Service and the Longview Fibre Company. By sharing the cost of the survey, it enables the Forest Service to procure the services at a substantially reduced cost. The contract performance period will be approximately January, 1996 through August, 1996. Award is anticipated in January, 1996. (0349)
