U -- PARACHUTE TRAINING JUMPS SOL DAKF40-96-R-0008 DUE 020196 POC Contract Specialist ANGELA LOCKE EXT 230 (910) 396-4362 (Site Code DAKF40) This is a notice of intent to negotiate sole source contract with Raeford Aviation, Raeford, North Carolina, for parachute training jumps for the US Army Parachute Team (USAPT) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the period 1 April 1996 through 31 March 1997 (plus 1 one year option period.) Commercial parachuting facility must be located within geographical area of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and have FAA parachute certified aircraft, pilots and drop zone to train the USAPT for the US National and subsequent World Parachute Championships. Responsible sources may respond to this notice and submit information identifying their capability to meet the specified requirements. This information will be considered only if the information (technical and pricing) submitted is clear and convincing that the firm can meet the specified requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of this synopsis publication will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
