but is not limited to: Removal of existing MALSR power and control
station; modification of existing nine MALS light bar; removal of
existing five rail flashers and their supports; construction of a 10'
x 12' stud wall shelter with concrete slab foundation; modification of
existing MALS frangible threshold bar; installation of new RAIL
flashers on LIR structures and their screw-in foundations;
reinstallation of existing MALSR equipment inside the new MALSR
equipment shelter; installation of new cables thoughout the entire
approach light system; installation of crushed rock access
road/parking/turnaround/work area; misc. civil and electrical
construction; removal of three existing 8' x 8' wood frame ILS shelters
and their concrete slab foundations; construction of three new 10' x
12' stud wall ILS shelters with concrete slab foundations; removal and
installation of new crushed rock parking/turnaround/work area;
installation of OSHA ladder for the GS antenna mast; misc. civil and
electrical work. Estimated bidding range is between $100,000 and
$250,000. Bid documents are anticipated to be available on or before

FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1.0 milion per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates
to provide accounts receivale financing. The maximum line of credit is
