Various items of camera/video equipment, to be used as replacements for ILARTS cameras. The following are the items and quantities: Camera (P/N SIT-75AX1637) 8 ea, Heater option (P/N 207090-01) (installed in camera) 8 ea, Battery lens close-down (P/N 207221-02), 8 ea, Cable (P/N 35050-10) 10 ft, 8 ea, Lens (P/N 207211-05) (with lens mounting hardware installed), 4 ea. The acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. DAGE-MTI, Inc of Michigan City, Indiana as the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the items to be acquired, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the manufacturer and the design/application requirements of the equipment involved. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
