The hour and date specified for receipt of quotes is extended to 4:30 p.m. Eastern on 12/29/95. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the RFQ or as amended, by one of the following methods: (a) By acknowledging receipt of this amendment on each copy of the offer submitted; or (b) By separate letter or datafax which includes a reference to the solicitation and amendment number. The purpose of this amendment is to change the description of Items 1 and 2 as follows: (1) 6061-T6-511 Aluminum Alloy Tubing, stress relieved extrusion, with finished dimensions of: 22-1/4'' O.D.(+1/4'',-0'') x 14-3/4'' I.D. (+0'',-1/4'') x 66'' Long(+1'',-0''), as per specifications--5 each. (2) 6061-T6-511 Aluminum Alloy Tubing, stress relieved extrusion, with finished dimensions of: 17-1/2'' O.D.(+1/4'',-0'') x 12'' I.D.(+0'',-1/4'') x 66'' Long(+1'',-0''), as per specifications--1 each. This tubing shall be certified to meet Government Specification WW-T-700/6 (Drawn) or QQ-A-200/8 (Extruded). Tubing shall have requirements of ANSI H35.2-1975, standard dimensional tolerances for aluminum mill products. This amendment supercedes all previous amendments issued. (0352)
