Officer, (202) 927-0435. The U.S. Customs Service is seeking sources
for a flexible fiber borescope that can be used to pass through
one-quarter in diameter opening and provide a clear view into otherwise
inaccessible locations. It must have a flexible length of 60'' and
should be sheathed in woven stainless steel coated with liquid-proof
material that is impervious to water, gasoline, and other chemical
liquids. It should allow full maneuverability control with one hand
2-way articulation. The depth of the field ranges can be from 10mm to
infinity and its field of view is at least 60 degrees. The Customs
Services is also interested in borescopes that have a video output from
the fiberscope to allow observation on an 8'' LCD screen under bright
daylight conditions. All interested parties should submit information
