The National Library Services for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS/BPH) has a requirement for the purchase and installation of two custom designed and fabricated Tactile Directory/presentation stands (one for each level) for NLS/BPH's offices on Taylor Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. These Tactile Directory/presentation stands incorporate print, braille, and audio information on a tactile representation of the facility and are required in order to increase building accessibility to blind and visually impaired visitors to the Taylor Street facilities and to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
