The Hickam Air Force Base Services Squadron is hosting the 38th Annual Hickam Festival on April 19 - 21, 1996. The festival is a three-day carnival which is open to both the military and civilian communities. It features amusement rides, game and food booths, a Kiddieland with costumed characters and easier games for the young ones and live musical entertainment featuring top musicians in the state. Admission is free and approximately 50,000 people attend each year. The festival is preceded by a month long promotion of advance sale tickets where all purchasers of advance tickets become eligible to win door prizes. Sponsorship is requested for door prizes, cash to pay for entertainment and publicity, services such as cellular phones, bottled drinking water, signs, balloons, sound system, etc. Sponsors will receive recognition through fliers, news media, and, dependent on sponsorship amount, may promote their products/services at the event site. All offers submitted will be considered. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received not later than January 31, 1995. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government. (349)
