Morris (816) 426-7267 ext 234 The National Weather Service plans to issue a solicitation to take, document, and disseminate aviation weather observations, synoptic weather observations, and climate weather observations via the Microcomputer-Aided Paperless Surface Observations (MAPSO) program at the National Weather Service Office at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Contractor will be required to provide NWS certified weather observers on a continuous basis, 24-hours daily. The contract basic performance period shall be from April 1, 1996 through September 30, 1996. The contract shall contain one option to extend performance for one 12-month period. Solicitation will be issued on or about January 16, 1996. This is a total small business set-aside. SIC Code 8999 applies. All requests for a copy of the solicitation must be in writing.
