The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract modification to Cosmodyne, Inc., Torrance CA 90503-3881. The proposed acquisition is for up to 112 manhours of Technical and Engineering Field Services Support and up to 538 manhours of In-Plant Support to the Auxiliary Systems Subgroup of the Ship Design and Engineering Directorate for Operational Ships installed with O2N2 (Oxygen Nitrogen Plant) systems designed and manufactured by Cosmodyne, Inc. Cosmodyne, Inc., as the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the O2N2 system, is the only company with sufficient expertise to respond to emergent technical problems. See Numbered Note(s): 22.
