Applicable to the UH-1 Aircraft. FOB Destination with required delivery
of 400 ea to Texarkana, TX at a rate of 200 ea per month beginning 309
days ADC and delivery of First Article Test Report by 198 days ADC.
Deliveries without First Article at a rate of 200 ea per month starting
180 days ADC. This procurement requires prequalification. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the agency. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One
Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed
contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have
specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition;
however, it is resricted to approved source(s) Bell Helicopter Textron,
Inc., Stewart Warner Corp., Niagara Development and Mfg. Co., and Affil
of Nordan. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that
award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for
future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the
solicitation. Information on meeting a qualifications may also be
obtained from ATCOM, ATTN: AMSAT-R-EB address as shown. See notes 22.
