58 -- TELEPHONE SERVICE FOR TEMPORARY LODGING FACILITIES IN EUROPE SOL F41999-96-R-0022 DUE 013196. Contact Charlotte Guilmenot, Contract Specialist, 210-652-6931, FAX 210-652-6309. Furnish, Install, Test (FI&T), and maintain a new Lodging Facility Telecommunications System (LFTS), including hotel/motel accounting and management features, for Ramstein Air Base Germany Lodging and possibly other locations in Europe. The contractor shall provide a LFTS consisting of all new equipment including the host-nation approved and connection approved basic digital switching systems, attendant consoles, administrative terminals, subscriber line circuit equipment, trunk circuit equipment, distribution frames, house wire, customer premise equipment, distribution frames, house wire, customer premise equipment, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), outside cable (black) plant, voice mail, and all other ancillary Hotel/Motel equipment and software necessary to provide service for a complete telecommunication system. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs.
