10 -- SUPPRESSOR SOL N00164-96-R-0023 DUE 023096 POC Contact Mr. Todd Steinsberger (812) 854-3706, (Mr. Greg Smith, Contracting Officer) Suppressor shall attach to M4A1 Carbine and be used with SOPMODM4-A1 Accessory Kit hardware (including M203 grenade launcher with quick detach mount). Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for 50 each minimum and 10,000 maximum suppressors. The Suppressor shall not interfere with the use of the standard M203 grenade launcher with suppressor attached, and standard bayonets and blank firing adapters when the suppressor is removed. Suppressor shall minimize sound ()25dB reduction) and flash signature of M4A1 Carbine firing M855 ammunition. Suppressor shall have a minimum life of 3,000 rounds including frequent full automatic firing. Quick attach/detach shall have a minimum, repeatable effect on point of impact of carbine. Suppressor shall be compact, rugged, corrosion resistant and durable. Ten (10) product samples shall be required with each proposal. Delivery to be 30 days after placement of initial delivery order and 30 days after all subsequent delivery orders. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination. Deliver to NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN.
