The two (2) sources to be solicitated are Rockwell International and Dowty RFL Industries. Rockwell International is the sole manufacturer for eight (8) components of the AN/TSC-122. The items are as follows: Amplifier--5895-01-376-5615 Quantity--1 each; Electronic Component Assembly--5998-01-325-7323--62 each; Circuit Card Assembly--5998-01-327-9918--20 each; Amplifier, Subassembly--5895-01-328-5635--24 each; Exiter, Radio Frequency--5820-01-328-5609--4 each; Interface Unit, Communications Equipment--5895-01-327-7537--1 each; Circuit Card Assembly--5998-01-372-3377--6 each. The Electronic Components--5998-01-323-9495--16 each. The item listed below was developed by Rockwell and Dowty: Circuit Card Assembly--5998-01-323-4990-- 8 each. Delivery Instructions as well as Shipping Instructions shall be provided at a later date. The Government proposes to procure this equipment on a sole source basis. This requirement contains a 100% Option for Increased Quantities. Drawings are not available however, the items shall be manufactured IAW manufacturer's drawing numbers. The US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPS) and Invitations for Bids (IFBS) expected to exceed 25 thousand dollars from Government to industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from CECOM EBB System. To become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB System. Detailed information regarding system requirements is contained in the US Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's manual, identification code and password will be issued upon request.
