The US Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District has a requirement for approximately 750 Tons of hot-rolled steel sheet piling (approximately 573 pieces for the total order). All piling shall conform to ASTM A 328, hot-rolled steel sheet piling. Both standard and special shape pilings shall be required. The requirement also includes pre-painting of some of the piling (approximately 14,000 square feet). The requirement includes handling, delivery, off-loading and storage of the piling at Lock and Dam No. 2, Monongahela River, Allegheny County, PA, at Braddock, 11.2 river miles upstream of the Point in Pittsburgh, at a designated laydown location. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Required delivery will be 90 days after the Notice to Proceed. Specifications will be available on or about 11 January 1996 at no charge.
