working on high security events projects. Please provide capabilities
statement, current staff level, description of facilities, tooling,
vehicles and machinery as well as references. Work will be performed at
various Olympic satellite venues under prime contract F19628-91-D-0003,
DO 0036. Locations include Birmingham, AL; Fort Lauderdale, FL;
Orlando, FL; Cleveland, TN; Washington, D.C.; and various sites in
Georgia including Columbus, Athens, Atlanta and Savannah. Multiple
contracts may be awarded. The contracts will include installation,
maintenance during the Olympic Games, and removal and restoration of
site. Period of Performance will vary by site but will occur in the
following general timeframes; March-June 1996 for installation;
July-August 1996 for maintenance, and August 1996 for removal and
disposition. Work at each site will vary but generally includes
installation of a perimeter fence, perimeter lighting (including poles,
fixtures, and power cables), and an entry control point (including
construction of a wooden deck platform, steps, and ramps, and erection
of a Government-furnished framed canopy. Due to the rigid schedule
dictated by the Olympic Games, each site will require significant
levels of effort in extremely short periods of time. A two-hour
response will be required during the maintenance period. Some of the
installation will be permanent. The remainder will be removed and the
site restored. Disposition of the removed material will be individually
specified. All work will be performed on a firm-fixed-price basis. Due
to the high visibility of this effort and other constraints, it is
necessary to have contractors that are experienced in special event
construction. All contractors will be required to provide performance
and payment bonds in the amount of their contract. Interested parties
should submit their detailed corporate capabilities, provide a summary
of previous experience in similar projects, and indicate what site(s)
