U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for the drydock and repair of USCGC BOUTWELL, a 378' High Endurance Cutter, homeported in Alameda, CA. All work will be performed at the contractor's facility during the period of 8 Apr through 17 May 1996. Work items include; drydocking, underwater body preservation, sea valve/waster piece inspection, anchor windlass overhaul, rudder and rudder stock maintenance, thrust bearing inspection, bow valve installation, MK 75 gun flushing upgrade, hull stern perservation, magazine sprinkler valve overhaul, hull plating repair, superstructure preservation, main mast antenna stays renewal, electric motor overhaul and lube oil supply piping renewal.
