The Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested physicians to provide non-hospital health care services to eligible Native American Indian and Alaskan Natives who are Indian Health Service (IHS) Contract Health Service (CHS) beneficiaries. Services to be provided in Contractor's facilities or hospitals where physicians have staff privileges. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy, IHS will contract only with those providers who will accept, as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payments). Proposals under this solicitation will be considered through December 31, 1996. Anticipated issue date is January 08, 1996. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve-month period with four (4) one-year option periods. (355)
