The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) seeks a contractor with national capabilities to provide records management and storage services at contractor's facilities in the metropolitan areas of Hartford, CT, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, and Irvine, CA. Total volume of FDIC records and microforms now located in these metropolitan areas approximates 600,000 cu. ft. Services required include accessioning, storage, retrieval, delivery, disposal, and automated systems maintenance. Contractor may also be required to staff and operate existing FDIC records management facilities. Requirements for these services are in FDIC Request for Proposal (RFP) #96-00157-P-DX. FDIC will utilize proposals it receives in response to this RFP to conduct cost and benefit comparisons between those proposed services and existing FDIC records management services.
