PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment required to construct a T-10 Jet Engine Test Cell. The cell shall be of modular steel frame construction with prefabricated acoustical panels, acoustical jet engine exhaust muffler system, acoustically treated air intake system with turning vanes, acoustical doors and windows, concrete foundation, concrete block ancillary building, jet fuel supply system, including underground storage tank and containment area, water spray fire protection system, fire extinguishing system for the TF-34 engine, instrumentation consoles for monitoring facility parameters and interfacing with Government furnished and installed engine monitoring and control systems, electrical utilities, water, sewer and storm drainage lines and other associated site work and incidental related work. The work shall also include relocation of an existing compressor and air receivers. This is a firm fixed price contract. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Contract duration is approximately 500 days. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1541 and the related small business standard is $17,000,000. This proposed acquisition is UNRESTRICTED.
