The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California, has a requirement for one 30 X 24 X 10 foot greenhouse and headhouse kit. The kit must include the structure, glazing, lighting, heating, cooling, benches, and Microgrow Procom Greenhouse Control system with one expansion module, or an equivalent system. This system will control and monitor the cooling, heating, soil moisture levels, room light levels, air temperature and humidity in the greenhouse. It must interfere with an existing Growlink program operated through the government's laboratory computers. The greenhouse and headhouse shall be attached to an existing government owned 30 X 90 foot greenhouse supplied by McCalif Grower Supplies, and be compatible with all aspects of the existing greenhouse. A solicitation is not available. The government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source, which is McCalif Grower Supplies of Ceres, California.
