S -- MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY SOL RFP: 533-3-96 DUE 022796 POC Contact Point, Renate Rainboth, (914)838-5263Additional Contact, Fax number, (914)838-5181 Oversee the overall operation of the wastewater treatment facility by a licensed professional engineer. Consult with regulatory agencies, including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and Dutchess County Department of Health (DCDOH) as needed with respect to the operation of the wastewater treatment facility. Adhere to the General and Special Conditions of the NYSDEC's State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES). Identify any significant concerns with the wastewater treatment facility and provide recommendations on how to remedy the situation as problems arise. Review and approve monthly operational reports. The basic operational services shall be overseen by state-licensed wastewater operators in accordance with NY state requirements. Provide daily operators for plant operations and minor maintenance. Provide emergency on-call service as necessary for operation of the wastewater facility twenty-four hours, seven days a week. SIC 4952 and size standard $3.5 million apply. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds. Period of performance is from date of award through 9/30/96 with four government option renewals. Solicitation will be available O/A 1/29/96.
