DuBose, Contract Specialist, 301/415-6578 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ANSYS, Inc., the developer of the ANSYS code, for a twelve- month period for the purchase and use of a University site-license to the latest version of the ANSYS code and to provide training to approximately 20-30 NRC staff in the use and application of the code. Specific topics to be taught are: Introduction to ANSYS, Solid Modeling, Dynamics, Heat Transfer, and Applied Analysis. The NRC intends to award this requirement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide these services. Telephonic responses will not be considered.
