Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Renovate existing 4 story dormitory Building 2262 and adjacent 2 story structure. The main dormitory will include conversion of layout to 2 bedroom suites with kitchenettes and baths (apprx 80 units), upgrade fire protection, add penthouse, install new roof, expand mechanical room, provide glycol heat, interior finishes, abate asbestos and lead-based paint, and provide handicap accessibility (including elevator) to the first floor. The adjacent 2 story structure contains existing dry cleaning laundromat and will include upgrade fire protection. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
