A -- ENGINEERING SERVICES AND MODIFICATIONS (ESMC V) FOR THE SATELLITE AND LAUNCH CONTROL SYSTEMS PROGRAM OFFICE (SLCSPO) SOL F04701-91-C-0012 POC The contact for contractual issues is Lt Jason R. The United States Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Satellite and Launch Control Systems Program Office (SLCSPO) intends to extend the site integration support of the current Engineering Services and Modifications Contract (ESMC V) for 122 Days from April 1, 1996 through July 31, 1996. The tasks to be performed include the following: 1) Assign staff at the Remote Tracking Stations (RTSs), 2) Assess progress of technical and facility modifications, 3) Notify contractor site representatives of allocated downtime, 4) Maintain on-site Installation and Checkout (I&C) status, 5) Monitor and coordinate site modification installation activities and schedules, 6) Support testing, 7) Review adequacy of test/demonstration plans/procedures/acceptance criteria, 8) Support Satellite Program Office (SPO) sustainment, minor and major modification programs, 9) Provide technical support to comm-electronics and installation, test, and acceptance programs, 10) Provide technical support to site operations, 11) Provide support for data and configuration management, 12) Provide technical support to the site Modification Control Board, 13) Maintain suspense files for in-process modifications, 14) Document that modifications have been authorized, defined, documented, and deficiencies corrected, 15) Assist in coordinating with government and contractor installation, test and integration teams, 16) Maintain applicable Installation Design Criteria (IDC). The estimated period of performance for this effort shall be no more than 122 days. The type of contract contemplated is Firm Fixed Price (FFP). This is a modification to an existing contract with the incumbent. This synopsis is not a formal solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited in this notice.
