Work for this statement includes the design and preparation of construction drawings and electrical specifications, consulting, and materialtake-off's for FPI manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States. The content of the deliverable should include, however, not limited to: Electrical requirements an distribution to machinery (Inclusive of recommendations and/or drawings for electrical disbursements system, (i.e. buss duct), and assure compliance with NFPA 13. Currently, there exist approximately 13 assignments which require electrical engineering services. the engineering firm will review submittals as supplied by FPI and provide cost for individual projects. Type of Contract Firm Fixed Price Requirements for one year with one option year. Estimated annual cost $100,000. Estimated cost for option year one is $100,000. Existing facilities range in size from 15000 square feet to 44000 square feet. The total A/E fee for design shall not exceed 6% of the estimated construction task order. In evaluation proposals, the following criteria will be applied: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. (3) Capacity to accomplish work in the required time. (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules.
