The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure Color Shifting Ink for use in printing U.S. Currency. The BEP anticipates the possibility of multiple awards by color variation of Color Shifting Ink. The BEP anticipates award of Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contracts. The period of performance will be for one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. The RFP will be available on or about January 12, 1996. The BEP's total Color Shifting Ink requirement is for approximately 10,200 lbs in the base year, with increasing quantities each option year, up to approximately 40,000 lbs in the 4th option year. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this RFP. Please submit the request within 15 calendar days of this announcement.
