Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR REPAIR AND ALTERATIONS AT VARIOUS LEASED AND POSTAL OWNED FACILITIES IN THE ERIE PA DISTRICT AREA Sol 232098-96-A-0081, Due 020596, POC Joan Robinson, Facilities Contract Specialist, (410) 997-6241. The contract resulting from this solicitation will include various repair and alteration type projects at postal leased and owned facilities in the geographical areas of the Erie District (Counties in PA: Armstrong, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson, Beaver, Butler, Cameron, Clarion, Crawford, Elk, Forest, Lawrence, Erie, Mckean, Mercer, Potter, Venango and Warren). At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as of the date of issue in general construction work. Contractors must also posses the capabilities of working at least three to five jobs at the same time. Specific Work Order/s will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and Specifications. One or more ``Work Orders'' will be issued totaling not more than $250,000.00 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $1,000,000.00. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders nor a specific amount. The contractor will not be required to perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit One (1) ``Multiplier'' to be applied to the various Unit Prices established in the ``Unit Price Schedule'', The Multiplier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Offers are due by 4:00 PM on February 05, 1996. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offer will not be disclosed to anyone except those postal personnel whose official duties required such information until award of contract is made.
