Request for information concerning potential transportation and compaction of Radioactive Contaminated Hazardous Waste. Supplier's shall be able to compact 55 gallon drums of mixed waste, place compacted drums into 85 gallon overpacks and fill voids between pucks with a void space filler or grout when required by regulations. The 85 gallon drums shall be certified as a DOT Type A Container. Supplier's who can perform the work on or off the Hanford Site will be considered. Supplier's are invited to submit a detailed summary that specifies what compaction options it can provide and an estimated cost for services. All options must be in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
