MK Ferguson Company (MK-F) is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under these procurement actions: (18) STORAGE PIGS/TANKERS: Five dry material storage pigs including all components required to feed and discharge fly ash as received and two dry material storage pigs including all components required to feed and discharge cement as received. Fly ash storage pigs are to be 4900 ft3, 14 feet in diameter, 32 foot side wall, and have 60 degree discharge cones. The cement storage pigs are to be 4900 ft3, 14 foot diameter, 32 foot side wall, and have 50 degree discharge cones. Estimated value is over $350K. (SIC 3537). Only full proposals will be accepted for the entire numbered package. It is anticipated that award will be in the form of a firm fixed price purchase order. This procurement action is set aside for small business, and suppliers should note in their letter of interest that they are a small business as it relates to the procurement package they are requesting.
