MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under these procurement actions: (17) LOW VOLUME BLOWERS: Four blowers to be used for aeration of fly ash and cement storage bins and one blower for the ventilation of air through an emissions stack. The four aeration blowers are to be rotary lobe, 500 SCFM at 1 psig, and 2 Hp. The ventilation blower is to be 60 Hp. Estimated value is over $20K. (SIC 3564) (19) HIGH VOLUME BLOWERS: One high volume blower for the transfer of fly ash (density approximately 75 lb/ft3 and one high volume blower for the transfer of cement (density of approximately 94 lb/ft3. The fly ash blower is to be 400 CFM at 15 psig, and 40 Hp. The cement blower is to be 450 CFM at 15 psig, and 40 Hp. Estimated value is over $35K. (SIC 3564). It is anticipated that proposal packages will be divided into the numbered packages noted above. Only full proposals will be accepted for each numbered package. It is anticipated that award will be in the form of firm fixed price purchase orders. These procurement actions are set aside for small business, and suppliers should note in their letter of interest that they are a small business as it relates to the particular procurement package they are requesting.
