Milanowski, (703) 607-6907. This procurement is a 100% small business
set aside. The SIC Code is 7379. The successful offeror will provide
technical support services to satisfy operational requirements of the
Joint Systems Support Center (JSSC) customers. The support services
will include but not limited to: operating systems software support,
security analysis and risk assessment, security evaluation, penetration
studies, data communications installation and maintenance, database
management/administration, capacity planning, network performance,
visual information systems support, Red/Black Inspections and TEMPEST
tesing and limited acquisition support for approved hardware and
software components identified as critical to JSSC mission. The
capability and performance requirements are as follows: the contractor
shall provide skilled assistance for installation, maintenance,
updates, user support, and related activities for optimum use of JSSC
computer and ADP systems. The successful offeror must have proven
expertise and capabilities in the following: - Current and full
knowledge of operating systems for DEC VMS, Data General, and
Honeywell(TS3); various inplementations of UNIX OS, including SUN
Solaris for GCCS and other environments; and general purpose system
software; - Extensive knowledge of the techniques and methodologies
related to the effective use of data base management systems (including
ORACLE and SYBASE) for GCCS); - Demonstrated experience installing,
terminating, and testing secure data communications circuits.
Experience terminating, splicing, and testing fiber optic cable and all
types of ethernet media cable. - Knowledge of DoD security procedures
and experience in performing security/risk assessments and penetration
studies; - Ability to provide a number of analysts with current Top
Secret (some clearable to SCI) clearances. - Knowledge of RED/BLACK
installation criteria for data communications installations. -
Extensive knowledge and experience performing TEMPEST lab and field
tests. The anticipated period of performance is one base year with four
