MCGLINN, (215)697-9644 This is a sources sought synopsis for hardware/software and installation services of Point of Sale Retail Operations Management System onboard approximately 200 Naval vessels for the Navy Exchange Command, Norfolk, VA. A firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract is expected with a base period of 12 months and (4) 12 month option periods. A draft RFP is expected to be issued by 31 January 1996. A Pre Solicitation conference is expected to be held at the Navy Exchange Command, Norfolk in February, 1996. The purpose of the Pre-Solicitation Conference is to finalize the statement of work with industry participation. A formal RFP is expected to be issued in March 1996.
