RFP DATM01-95-R-0020 is not expected to be released in its final version until March 1996 due to a major change in the mission support scope. Originally, the RFP contained only Operation, Maintenance, and Technical Threat Support. Now, the RFP will include both the Operation, Maintenance, and Technical Threat Support currently under contract DATM01-93-C-0002 with TESCO, and the Intelligence Research and Analysis support, currently under contract DATM01-95-C-0002 with Research Analysis and Maintenance, Inc. (RAM). As a result, the Government intends to extend the current contract with TESCO, contract DATM01-93-C-0002, to September 1996 to allow adequate time for the RFP process. Further, the Government will not exercise the remaining options for FY 96 and out under the RAM contract DATM01-95-C-0002. See Note 22. (004)
