The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple ocassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-5218 with COMSTAT/RSI Incorporated (RSI), Electro Mechanical Systems, 6200 118th Avenue N., Largo, Florida 34643. Orders will be issued for in plant repairs (including emergency repair), alteration, overhaul refurbishment and maintenance of the AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal (AB-1299/SPS-49 (v)) and associated components, including all materials and services incidental to such work, such as repair parts, components, accessories, documentation, associated tools and any necessary packing, packaging, and marking for AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). COMSAT/RSI is the original AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal manufacturer. It is the only company which has the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment to perform the tasks described. No resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements. COMSAT/RSI is the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact COMSAT/RSI directly. See Numbered Note(s): 22.
