The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multilpe ocassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-94-G-5218 with COMSTAT/RSI, Electro Mechanical Systems, 6200 118th Avenue N., Largo, Florida 34643. Orders will be issues for repair part sets and individual parts, including replenishment of repair part sets in support of restoration, and maintenance of the Government depot storeroom under the AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal (AB-1299/SPS-49(V)) program. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). COMSTAT/RSI is the original AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal manufacturer. It is the only company which has the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment to perform the tasks described. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements. COMSTAT/RSI is the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the AN/SPS-49 radar pedestal. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact COMSTAT/RSI directly.
