Also included in this project is site work, concrete, electrical and mechanical work. This acquisition is unrestricted based on Full and Open Competition; SIC Code 1799; Size Standard $7.0 million. Award will be made to that responsive, responsible, lowest price bidder whose bid complies with all aspects of the solicitation. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
