17 -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLE (ROR) IN SUPPORT OF AIRCRAFT AND ENGINES SOL N68335-96-G-0076 DUE 022096 POC Kathleen Kiley Code 213KK, (908) 323-5197. Buyer/Contracting Officer is F. Hufnell. NAWCADLKE has been tasked to initiate a BOA with Howell Instruments Inc. for Repair of Repairables (ROR), Interim Logistic Support (ILS), and Contractor Maintenance and Engineering Technical Services (CM & ETS), for the following equipment: a: Automatic Engine Data Acquisition Test System (AEDATS II), P/N H345-2, b: Remote Electrical T5 Engine Trim Set, P/N BH23599, c: Accessory Cables with Case, P/N H338N-606, d: Cable Set, Engine Trim Test, P/N H338N-614, e: Cable Adapter Set, P/N BH29635. The equipment listed above is in support of the F110-GE-400 and TF30-A-414 turbofan engine used in the F14 Navy Aircraft, TF34-GE-400 Turbofan Engine and GTCP36201C Gas Turbine Engine used in the S3A Navy Aircraft and T58 engines used in the SH-3H and CH-46 Helicopter. The proposed ROR, ILS and CM & ETS BOA shall cover repair/maintenance services to be accomplished at the contractor's facility, interim spare/repair parts required, and on site Contractor Engineering Technical Support Services (CETS) for the above P/N's. As specified above, the Navy has procured these items that may require contractor support services. The Government intends to negotiate this BOA under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Howell Instruments Inc. is the sole designer and manufacturer of the repairables. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0005)
