This correcting synopsis is issued to provide clarification regarding the original synopsis published for the LRAS3 program. The original synopsis mentioned that the Project Manager for Night Vision/Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition (PM NV/RSTA) was planning to hold an Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) in the January 1996 time frame. THIS PM NV/RSTA BRIEFING WILL NOT BE AN APBI AND SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE APBI TITLED ''BEST VALUE ACQUISITION SYMPOSIUM'' BEING HELD BY THE UNITED STATES ARMY COMMUNICATIONS-ELECTRONICS COMMAND (CECOM) ON THE 24TH OF JANUARY. The PM NV/RSTA briefing will be a Pre-Solicitation Conference and is now forecasted to be held at Fort Belvoir, VA in the late January/early February 1996 time frame. Suppliers interested in the LRAS3 program and the pre-solicitation conference should monitor the CECOM Electronic Bulletin Board for additional information. (0005)
