U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for the Dockside Repairs on USCGC PLANETREE, a 180' buoy tender, homeported in Ketchikan, AK. All work will be performed at cutter's homeport of Ketchikan, AK. during the period of 22 Apr through 17 May 1996. Work items include; temporary services, SPD ct winch installation, hoisting padeye installation, evaporator chemical cleaning & hydrostatic test, bow thruster remote shutdown inst, electric meter calibration, wet space repairs, asbestos removal/insulation, propulsion generator cleaning, safety pipe rail replacement, electric cargo hoist gear overhaul and test and high pressure gauge calibration.
