The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) 10,000 SF single-story open-office space building w/ demountable partitions, CMU split-face exterior walls w/ interior steel studs and insulation, spread footing foundation and concrete slab-on-grade floor w/ carpet cover, Single ply EPDM roof on metal deck and steel joist, HVAC and plumbing, landscaping and irrigation system, approx. 40 vehicle bituminous parking area. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a January 26, 1996. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
