This solicitation invites proposals for construction of a Postal Retail Store for the Federal Center Station Post Office located at 100 Alabama St., Atlanta, GA. The work includes demolition, metal fabrication, carpentry, millwork, glass and glazing, interior finishes, signage, specialties, HVAC systems, concrete sidewalks, and other associated work including acquisition of required permits. All offerors must show ``Postal Retail Store'' construction as a general contractor within the past 18 months. Estimated cost of this project is between $1,450,000 and $1,950,000 with 120 days for construction after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Interested offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the preproposal conference to be held on February 6, 1996 at 1:00 PM in the conference room at the Facilities Service Office, 4000 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Bldg. 300, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA.
