The work consists of the following principle features: Launch Facility (LF) Contours and Fence Repair. LF Contours includes: (1) Grade to improve drainage, access and general appearance on-site, within the particular fee area and access road easement; (2) cleaning, removal and replacement or installation of CMP culverts; (3) removal, repair or installation of various drainage appurtenances; and (4) removal, repair or installation of various erosion control systems such as riprap and geotextiles. LF Fence Repair includes: (1) Replace and/or repair existing gates, relocate specific sections of existing security fence and repair or replace posts, rails, fabric, animal barrier, braces and wires; (2) installation of hardware cloth overlay on security fence; and (3) prepare and paint existing fencing and components. Performance period for a firm fixed price construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be one basic year and one option year. Invitation for Bid (IFB) is limited and will be furnished to the requestor on a first-received, first-served basis until supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. The issue date will be on or about 9 Feb 96 with bid opening date 30 days after issuance. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
