Z -- IDQ PAINT AND REPAIR INTERIOR/EXTERIOR MISCELLANEOUS BUILDINGS SOL F41636-96-B0003 POC JOHNIE JOHNSON tel: 210/671-1732/JOANN HERNANDEZ PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT (IDQ) FOR PAINT AND REPAIR VARIOUS STRUCTURES AT LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS. Work includes but not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, necessary to repair and replace damaged, cracked, or deteriorated surfaces including wood, concrete, masonry, gyspum, plaster, stucco, screen fabric, wall finishes, floor base, and asbestos siding; repair and replace glass, doors, windows, and soffits. Interior and exterior painting of new or previously painted surfaces including mechanical and electrical equipment, metal and wood stairways, ramps, stacks, docks, beams, or other structures. Preparation of surfaces including sandblasting and removal of contaminated waste including lead. This contract will not include Military Family Housing. Performance period is 365 calendar days with three (3) option years. Magnitude of this project is over $10 million dollars (if all options are exercised). Guaranteed minimum order per contract year is $50,000. Plans and specifications are expected to be available approximately February 12, 1996, with a bid opening date of March 14, 1996. Plans and specifications will be furnished upon written request only. THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED IN THE AMOUNT OF $12.00 PER SOLICITATION PACKAGE. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
