35 -- ALL TERRAIN CRANE (ATC) SOL DAAE0796RX001 POC For a Solicitation copy or for information on this procurement, call Jean Scott (810) 574-7227 It is proposed to award a five-year requirements contra CT for an all terrain Crane (ATC), minimum 20 ton capacity. A performance specification will be used and unique Military requirements include tie-downs and CARC paint. The current budgeted Army 5-year requirement is 62; Army reserves estimate a need for an additional 20 peryear. The Army acquisition objective is 468. Offerors will be required to provide, at NO COST to the Government, within 15 days of proposal submission, a Model of the Crane being offered for a general performance assessm ent to include travel speed, off-Road mobility, lifting capacity and human factors. The assessment will take Pl ACE at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Selection of a contrac tor will be based on best value evaluation criteria, and results of the assessment will be used by the source selection evaluation Board as part of the proposal evaluation. First article test of initial production items will be required and the contractor will provide manuals, new equipment training and provisioning data.
