Solicitation closing date is due February 27, 1996, FOB Destination in 50 States, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, Requirements type contract Multiple Awards. Small Business Size Standard of 500 applies. Issue date will be on or about January 23, 1996. The contract performance period is two years, April 1, 1996 or date of award whichever is later through March 31, 1998. The solicitation is changed to include the Industrial Funding Fee Clause and the Option to Extend the Term of the Contract clause. All contracts in effect on or after January 1, 1996, will include the Industrail Funding Fee requirement. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised all extended contracts will become indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum for the option period. The option clause may be exercised more than once, the total extension of the performance period shall not exceed five years. The option to extend the contracts will not be considered until March 31, 1998. See Note 12 (0010)
