contractor for the Department of Energy at the Idaho National
Engineering Laboratory (INEL) is presenting a potential licensing
opportunity with LMIT for Converting Methane to Methanol and other
Complex Hydrocarbons, U.S. Patent No. 5,427. LMIT has developed and
patented a chemical reactor system for conversion of abundant methane
gas to more valuable methanol as well as to ethers, aldehydes, and
other alcohols and hydrocarbon chemicals. LMIT is soliciting a written
indication of interest from industry partners who would consider
entering into a license agreement for the purpose of commercializing
this technology. This is not an opportunity to provide goods or
services to LMIT or the Department of Energy. This solicitation will
close to response 30 days after publication. Interested parties should
