Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID 83415-3805; a management and operating contractor for the Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) is presenting a potential licensing opportunity with LMIT for Converting Methane to Methanol and other Complex Hydrocarbons, U.S. Patent No. 5,427. LMIT has developed and patented a chemical reactor system for conversion of abundant methane gas to more valuable methanol as well as to ethers, aldehydes, and other alcohols and hydrocarbon chemicals. LMIT is soliciting a written indication of interest from industry partners who would consider entering into a license agreement for the purpose of commercializing this technology.
