The project consists of furnishing manpower, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary for Renovation of 3rd and 4th Floors, Asbestos Abatement. The Scope of Work includes interior demolition and remodeling of approximately 8,500 square feet and workroom area. The work includes asbestos abatement, sheet rocking, plaster patching, interior finishes, concrete floor topping, miscellaneous metal guardrails, lookout gallery, toilet room work to meet handicap requirements, spray-on fireproofing, HVAC and electrical demolition and new work, fire protection and alarm work as defined in the plans and specifications at the Processing and Distribution Center, 180 Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55101-9998. A Preproposal Conference will be held on January 30, 1996, at 1:00 P.M. at that facility in the PEDC room. To arrange an on-site visit, offerors/contractors should contact Mr. Thomas Roth-Yousey 612/293-3072. The estimated cost range is between $465,000.00 and $550,000.00. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $75 per set, nonrefundable. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
