Work involves the alteration of approximately 40,000 SF of a single story brick building to house Air National Guard aircraft operations planning/control and administrative areas and aircrew equipment and parachute maintenance shops. The project will provide landscaping, architectural, mechanical, electrical and communications improvements, including removal and construction of new stud walls, doors and windows, installation of plumbing and bathroom fixtures, alteration of HVAC systems and installation of DDC energy management system, alteration of electrical and backup power, communications and fire detection/alarm systems, and replacement of walls, ceilings, and floor finishes. Specialty work will include installation of an intrusion detection alarm system. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
