Work will consist of dismantling a 300-foot segment, sorting approximately 4,500 tons of material, pressure washing about 400 tons of chinking stone into the jetty, constructing and grouting the core layer with about 1,900 tons of material, and replacing the armor layer over the 300-foot segment with approximately 4,000 tons of sorted jetty stone and 2,800 tons of new 2-ton stone. Work will also involve walkway, fishing pier and utility modifications. Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Pre-Solicitation Notice will be issued on or about 05 Jan 96.
